Life is a beautiful journey with highs and lows that are essential for balance. It is unrealistic to expect to be happy all the time; however, your perspective can improve how you feel about any situation. Focusing on finding the positive in any situation creates a positive shift in your perspective. Thus, allowing you to more peacefully handle the situation at hand whatever it may be.
Focusing on the positives helps the situation not seem as bad versus if you choose to only focus on the negative you will feel extensively more overwhelmed emotionally and mentally. A situation can only make you feel how you allow it to, by the perspective you choose to view the situation.
An open mind is very important to perspective because only then can you see a situation from another view point. The goal is to find a positive and logical perspective while respecting the views of others even if you disagree with their view or if they are not the same as your views.
Having a positive perspective helps promote and foster important interpersonal skills/qualities in the relationships we have. People often speak of the importance of trust. Trust is priceless, BUT only earned and maintained through honesty and truth. Thus, the importance of these characteristics are profound and should be cherished as much as love and respect.
I am very happy with my personal life and relationships; but that is not the case for all people. This post is for people that are not happy with their situation what ever it may be, who ever they are, where ever they are!
Only you can know what is right for you. Only you can make a change; but only if that is what you truly want. Either way, it is your life just make sure you are the one holding the pen writing your story yourself, not letting someone else write it for you!!! This too shall pass and you will find yourself on another one of life's wonderful waves. Life gives us lessons, whether we want them or not!
Why is awareness so important? Because it is the nature of wisdom. You may meditate because you want peace. All sorts of expectations can arise in your mind.
The benefit of learning how to disengage our attention from the thought stream is that we can then apply our minds more readily toward more constructive things, such as accomplishing tasks and connecting with other people and our own true purpose. It creates space within us -- an opening that allows more energy to flow into us.
Meditation is helpful for the body, it stills anxiety, and is generally beneficial. This is scientifically proven. So there are many reasons to meditate. There is no doubt that it can help stress, depression, and anxiety. It is helpful for the emotional problems of daily life, when things go wrong It opens the heart and makes you more aware. And when awareness rises, so does wisdom, and the wisdom that rises from meditation is very powerful. And by the way...prayer is also a form of meditation.
Breathing is the most important form of meditation practice. The breath is connected with the subtle winds, and this is connected with the heart mind. If you keep focus on breathing, in and out, naturally you will become calm. You will feel joyful and light. As you continue meditate, that feeling will stabilize. Then a feeling of love and compassion will arise. Inner peace starts from there. Why does that happen? All the emotional upset has come out, so the mind is calmed.

Life is not easy, but the best things in life require hard work...if it was easy we would not know how to truly appreciate happiness without the battle to earn it...realistically speaking. Humans cannot understand happiness without understanding sorrow, etc...facts of life.
